I need new pair of headphones, so i did a little research and found out ath-m50 is highly recommended everywhere, I want this headphones for my PC, i currently have a "TC electronic" Impact twin sound card, but I wanted to know if It's better to use it with a headphone amp. if is, which one? (I'm a little low on budget, and I don't need a Portable amp)
so with 30$ I found "FiiO E6" & "Pyle-Pro PHA40" and 2 diffrent models of "Behringer HA400", I've read reviews and there are a lot of good things said about PHA40, Couldn't find anything about HA400, and some good reviews on E6. so what I'm asking is does anyone know that I need an amp or not? and which one is better?

Offcourse a good quality amp will make a difference but remember u need your music to be high quality otherwise if u even have the best amp and bad quality files it will sound like ****. Focusrite scarlett 2i2 is a very good amp and almost 145 $ which is kinda a lot but its totally worth it. About the Fiio i dont know if the are good i mean they look good and its a cheap solution. Its your choice. Here are more options http://www.thomann.de/gb/usb_audio_interfaces.html check them out too

Hold off on the amp until you've had the 'phones for a while. I've been particularly disappointed in the Fiio products I've auditioned.
