Some random number called my phone and i was wondering if there was someway i could see who it is thats calling me without calling the number back? I might as well call it back but that might be awkward or it might be a wrong number.

Type the number in quotes on Yahoo search and see what comes up...otherwise just use the reverse lookup sites. Works best for 800/business numbers. If unlisted residential or cell, will likely just give you an estimated location, but not name/address.

Get a No Cost Phone Number Scan at https://bitly.im/aL77V
Its a good way to start. The place lets you to do a no cost phone scan simply to find out if any telephone data is there. This basic alalysis is done without cost. For a full detailed report its a modest payment.
Here's Reverse / Whose Number Lookup page. If you're talking about cell phones, you usually have to pay for that. I've had pretty good luck just using Google a phone number to find out who's calling. If you are researching a quantity of numbers, though, I suppose, you might want a service. I can't imagine why the average person would need to research a quantity of numbers, though, so I assume this is business-related, and it then seems only fair that you pay for a service. But maybe it's not.

Use a reverse lookup website.
By all means do not call them back. Sometimes that is what they want you to do. They will then route the number you are calling from to somewhere over seas and it will cost you money. It is one of those tricks the lowlifes like to use. I look them up a lot just to see who is calling though.
Good Luck!!!

There is a totally free tool at http://www.unitedsleuths.com/reverse-phone.html which searches all the free resources on the Internet such as Whitepages and Google. When it finds the information you need, it brings back the owner name and location.
If it can't find any results,it shows you the best place to find them
Hope this helps?
