I am SO frustrated with this. I just bought a 4G Memory Stick Pro Duo Memory Stick, and a CoreMicro box to insert the stick in so I can hook it up to the computer and put content on it. When the Memory Stick file pops up on my computer, I created a file called "VIDEO" (I also tried "VIDEOS") and dropped my video, which is already in correct PSP format, into the folder. However, when I put the memory stick into my PSP, it recognises there's a memory stick, but says there are no videos on it!!
Please explain to me what I am doing wrong. Some people talk about "Formatting" my memory stick... what is this? Do I need to do it? Once I got my memory stick all I did was try to put content on it then play it on my PSP.

Please, please PRETTY PLEASE help me with this problem! ): And, don't tell me to hook my PSP up to the computer because I lost the cable to do that. I can only put the content on the Memory stick, THEN put it in my PSP.

This is an easy one...

First put the memory card in the PSP, turn on the PSP and go to Setting, System Settings, Format Memory Stick. That will add the folders to the memory stick and delete everything you have on it.

Now when you connect the PSP to your computer with the USB cord or since you use a card reader, open the folder. You should now have a Video folder and other folders (it's not all caps). Than make sure your videos are in MP4 format and drag them into the Video folder in the Memory stick.

definite the disc is the memory card the psp is preety a lot a cd force linked to the laptop mem playing cards arent less costly besides the indisputable fact that the perfect one for music and flicks may be the a million gig and that is about $15 at walmart yet may also carry demoes and video games(want CFW) also in case your laptop activates so that you may format your memcard do no longer do it because it turns into unuseable
