I don't want to seperate the video and audio, but convert it to stereo, so it's coming out of 2 speakers.

You can't convert mono sound to true stereo but it should come out of both speakers. Check all the settings on your equipment for starters. You may be able to set your sound in your playback equipment to mono. This might get the audio out both speakers. Have you checked and made sure your speakers are working? Did one fail or just get disconnected? You don't really give any details, is this a recording you made? Did you record the sound as stereo? If this is a purchased recording it may be faulty. What equipment are you using to play the recording?
