Question:
What is the name of the plugin to burn AVI as a movie to DVD with Nero?

I used to have a plugin that would allow me to burn AVI files as a movie to a DVD with Nero but that was a couple years ago seeing I have a different computer & I haven't burned any movies since. I know there is a plugin but I forgot the name.

Please DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT tell me I need some other non-related programs to convert files to MPG seeing I am not asking for that and it is completely off topic.

Thanks.

Ok. Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format..

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

it is easy to use, fast and it works perfect for me.. give it a try, you'll love it

1. Download ConvertXtoDVD here:

http://convertxtodvd.burner-software.com/

It can convert any video file.. like wmv, mpeg, asf, mp4, avi to dvd

2. Add or drag-n-drop as many video files as the DVD can handle

3. Insert blank DVD

4. Click "Convert"

5. Enjoy watching those video files on your home DVD player! =)

ConvertXtoDVD has a lot of extra nice features too,

for example you can make your own ANIMATED DVD menu or auto-generate it, add subtitles, auto-burn to dvd or save your conversion.

Use "Nero Vision" application to burn your avi videos to dvd. You'll find it in Start>Programs>Nero>Nero Vision, or under Applications in StartSmart. If you used the Nero installation disc on your new computer there shouldn't be any problem, but if you feel you're missing plugins you can get them here:

Hope this helped.
