Question:
Outdoor speakers setup?

I know very little about home audio technology, but I have a few questions regarding how I should setup my outdoor sound system. I moved into a new home a couple of years ago. The back deck was wired for future installation of outdoor speakers, and a volume control dial was installed indoors. I assume these were wired to a home theatre jack for the input.

I would like to be able to sit outside and listen to music, but I'm wondering if it's possible to be able to control the volume and song selection from outdoors. It seems that with the current set-up that I would have to go inside each time I wanted to adjust the volume or change the song on my home theatre system. This would not be pratical. Any suggestions for getting around this? What if I used a "soundbridge" to get access to songs on my computer's harddrive?

if you have cellphone with bluetooth and bluetooth dongle, just download bluetooth remote control for pc and phone software, and in that program/application you can control winamp/itunes/windows media player controls while you are sitting 10 meters away from your pc using your cellphone as a remote control. http://www.blueshareware.com/products.asp
