What GPS is a good choice?

Ive wanted a GPS now for awhile and my boyfriend just decided he wwanted to get me one, however he wants to make sure Im completely happy with it and wants me to pick it out. But I really wasent expecting that, and havent looked that much into them. I need help in figureing out whats good to look for. I was thinking though a portable one would be nice. Any ideas?

If you buy a Garmin, choose a model that ends with a "5", like 205, 255, 265, 755, or 765, etc. They are newer models than the ones that end with "0" like 200, 350, 360, 760, etc.



There are several useful upgrades from the older series to the new series, so be sure you get the latest. Within the new series, as you go up in price, you get more features like widescreen, mp3 and bluetooth, but the basic navigation is the same.

Tom Tom also makes good GPS but I am not very familiar with their products.

My personal pick would be the Garmin...I used my mother in laws for a trip to the beach, and it tells you word for word where to turn...picks up a list of attractions, restaurants and many more and give you point by point directions on ow to get there. I'm pretty sure all the GPS systems do that, that's on the market. But I like this one because it's not expensive. Hope you find a good one!!

En general estoy bastante desorientada pero me gusta hacer deportes, buscado en los sitios web he encontrado un GPS especial para mí, la verdad es que además del buen precio el reloj con GPS me ha impresionada por la multitud de cosas que lleva y además funciona perfecto, una excelente compra sin duda.
