What are the best drum heads? Please help! I record soon!?

My band, A Life of Science, will be recording our album next Tues. We are recording with a Major Producer who is well known in the music world.
I am first up at bat, being the drummer, but am having a hard time deciding on what type of heads to use. To give you a picture of my set up: I am using my 3 piece DW Collector's series with a DW custom hand-hammered Brass Snare. For Cymbals, I have a Zildjian 22" A-Custom Brilliant Ping Ride, 20" Zildjian A Custom Crash, 18" Zildjian A Custom Projection Crash, Zildjian K Custom MasterSound Hihats and a 8 Inch ZILBEL.
The music is Indie Rock-Prog with some screaming and heavy chugs at times, lots of electronica and programmer pop.....
We want the most pristine sound out of the kit. What type of heads should I use? I would like to hear different opinions so please send me all the recommendations. Price doesn't matter. There are lots of good drum heads out there. I'd suggest looking at Steve Weiss music (www.steveweissmusic.com). They're a retailor for all sorts of percussion equipment.



I suggest Remo or Pearl. Those are the two biggest head brands out there. They're durable, and I'm sure each website would be able to help point you in the right direction. Good luck with your band!

you decide on something with 2 plies. it is maximum acceptable for recording, fairly rock and metallic, the position articulation is significant. the ec2s (as pronounced previously me) are outstanding. those could be my properly advice.

Don't plug you're band whatever you do ay, I know you didn't intentionally but you still did. On a completely unrelated note where can I get some of you're music ? :-) btw pearl are the best.
