If you're interested in sound quality, stay away from the Beats. You'd be much better off with a headphone from Sennheiser, AKG, Shure, Audio Technica, Bowers & Wilkins, or Beyerdynamic.

NEITHER, because ALL Beats (Dr.Dre or without, does not matter) are massively overhyped and overpriced FASHION TOYS marketed VERY aggressively for gullible people who either do NOT CARE or do NOT KNOW a single thing about REAL audio quality.

Instead, go for any of the following REPUTABLE brands: Sennheiser, Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Bang & Olufsen, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic, Audio-Technica.

Audio Technica ATH M50: better sound across the board with good bass response, cheaper price for higher durability and better cabling.

Executive sounds better. I have studios and I like the executives more.
