You do understand that you bought inferior quality merchandise because WM doesn't pay for quality control. Most of their merchandise is manufactured only for them. Take it back - it's not your fault it broke.

If you have the receipt, there should be no problem with getting a refund. If all you want is a new controller, they SHOULD switch it no hassle. I bought a router and my roommate broke it cuz he's dumb and they still refunded the money. But then again, it's Walmart and Walmart SUCKS.

I bought an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller from Walmart a few days ago and it was quickly broken despite gentle use. The Sync Button is jammed and thus won't allow me to play with it.

If you have the receipt, usually the return policy is printed. If not, take it with you anyway when you go to return it. Usually, they check the date of the purchase. If they don't give you cash, they will probably give you a gift card for the store and you can get a replacement.

You will be fine if the item is retuned withing 5-7 days. Don't wait the full refund period. Helps you look less suspicious. Depending on the paranoia of the that particular store, they may check the serial #.



Receipt, all retail pkg, return it with everything single piece that was sold to you.

Nah, they won't check the serial number, just make sure to take the box, any cords, etc and your receipt.

I would hurry and return it soon cause with electronics Walmart has a 15 day return policy (or at least mine does).

I work at the service desk at wal-mart and if you have your receipt we will return it and just send it to claims.



Since it is broken do everyone a favor and tell them it is so they don't try to resale it.

Most likely you should be fine with your receipt.



If you don't we MAY or may NOT let you exchange it for another. Or give you a gift card. It all depends on the appearance, if it looks like it was abused.



The general return policy on electronics is 15 days.

when you go to return something at walmart they will give you store credit if you dont have your receipt. i had a little waterfall fountain i bought there and 4 months later it cracked in half and i took it back without the box or anything and they gave me my money back. Walmart is pretty good in giving a refund or another product. just explain the situation and im sure they will understand.

As long as the controller is in the original package and you have the receipt, they'll take it back. Electronics does have an even-exchange policy on some merchandise, but I think that mostly applies to the games and not the accessories.

just bring everything in and say it doesn't work. they'll probably put it back on the shelf to resell it, but hey, you got your money back.



I bought a pur water filter from Wal-Mart, got home, opened it and the filter was missing but the package from the filter was in the box... weird, huh?



the moral? they won't check it, and if they do they could care less.
