How do I store lots of wires and cables? ?

i work in a lounge/club and i have so many wires and cables that i need to hold onto but no way to store them neatly and organized.
i have everything from XLR's to rca's to cat-5 and extensions cords.

Buy some plastic bins and try to organize them in those bins.

There also wire hooks/organizers you can put on a wall and hang wires

The first thing you want to do is go through them and get rid of all unnecessary/unusable cords.



Next separate what you have into categories (i.e. xlr, rca, etc.), so you can see what and how much you have.



Then use velcro, a rubberband, twist tie, etc. to keep them in neat coils.



Purchase an organizational product to store them. For easy access, I would buy plastic drawers and put a different category in each drawer. Then label it, so you know where everything is.

You might want to try those velcro ties on each cable too.



I have been using them for years and they work great!

For XLR cables, I put them on cable reels and I click the male and female ends together as I spool on each cable. This is a really neat way to store XLR cables:

I use old hard suit cases 1 for input 1 for output and 1for elertical
