Question:
How do I set the time zone on my "atomic" (radio controlled) clock?

This is one of the radio-controlled clocks that gets a radio signal from the NIST in Boulder, CO. I can't find the instruction book, nor is there any info about this clock or the manufacturer available through a Google search. The brand name is Alexander's Time Company. There is no model number anywhere on this thing, not even inside the battery compartment. All it has on the back as far as markings go is the CE symbol and "Made in China".

On the back are 4 buttons: Mode, Set, Adjust and Receive. The display shows the time and date, the time zone, and a "receive" indicator for the WWV signal. I tried pressing Mode, and all that does is allow me to set the alarm. I tried the Adjust button, and I'm able to set the time and date, but I can't adjust the time zone. It constantly shows Pacific Time, but I'm in Central Time. When we press Adjust, it will let us set everything EXCEPT the time zone. We tried pressing combinations of buttons to try to access some "hidden" menu. We tried pressing and holding buttons to see if you had to hold a button down for a certain number of seconds before you could access certain features. No luck, no matter what we press or hold, it won't access the time zone function. We have several radio-controlled clocks, but this is the only one where we can't set the time zone. All the other ones have the capability to select the zone as part of the menu, and they are all correct.

Does anyone have one of these clocks, or know how to fix the time zone?

I live on the boarder of a time zone and had a clock that wouldn't change to my time zone because my area didn't change times. I wound up giving at away to a son who lived in that zone. Another time I was able to hold own two buttons at the same time set and adjust and it cycled until it hit the correct zone and I lifted. Sounds like you may have tried that.Just make sure you hold them long enough as it can be slow.

Also take it off receive while adjusting and try taking the battery out and look for a button inside that compartment that could be a reset button. Bar that it might make a nice present for someone in that time zone. Good luck.

An atomic clock positioned one meter above another atomic clock will report time passing 1/10^16 faster than the one below it. If you study modern physics, you'll find that time/space is inter-related, and that the speed of light has been slowing down, ever since we've been able to measure it. It was discovered by a Canadian mathematician that the speed of light has been slowing predictably in accordance with a common cosecant squared curve. Before 3,000 BC, light traveled more than 10 million times faster than it does now. Scientists stopped tracking this a little over 30 years ago at the advent of the atomic clock. The reason is that the Atomic clock tracks the passage of time by measuring the resonance of a Cesium 133 atom. The problem is that the Cesium 133 atom resonates at the speed of light. Therefore, they are using a rubber ruler. For the past 10 years, this oversight has been noticed by a growing number in the scientific community and the fact that light has been slowing down in accordance with the cosecant sqared curve has become very well known and understood - at least for those of us who follow these things. If you were to travel to the nearest star, Alpha Centari, (4.5 light years away) at the speed of light, it would take you 9 years to get there and back, but by time you returned, the earth would have aged 632 years. If you don't understand that, you have no business talking about radio-metric dating, atomic clocks, or the speed of light. Every observation in the physical universe bolsters the Biblical account of creation. The Young-earth model is right on the money for what we empirically know about our universe - the more we learn, the more accurate it is. The Bible is way more advanced than any scientist or group of scientists. It always has been, and it always will be.

on my "Made in China" atomic clock each time the "+" button is pressed and held for several seconds the time zone advances.

All I can suggest is to try to hole one of the buttons down for a few seconds.
