Go to the Tools button on the main screen, choose the Settings button, then the Map button and then select Map Info. This will tell you what maps are pre-loaded on your Nuvi.

Unless you bought a Garmin pre-loaded with Europe maps, you need to buy the European map set. They are available from Garmin, or the people who sold you the GPS may be able to get the maps for you. You don't say what model Nuvi you have, but I think they all have SD card slots - the best choice would therefore be to get the maps on an SD card, instead of on disk.

For peace of mind on the go, n?vi 255 leads the way with voice-prompted turn-by-turn and optional MSN Direct to get you there on time and keep you informed. It's packed with millions of destinations and maps for North America or Europe. Like the rest of the compact n?vi 2x5-series, this portable navigator is priced right and ultra-easy
