i have an Compaq Presario F700 with Windows Vista 32-bit. so two days ago, i was listening to music and my volume suddenly stopped working. i restarted the laptop and the volume button says No Audio Output Device Installed. my dad tried to restore the laptop to a point where it was fine before. that also didn't work. i then updated all of my drivers with Driver Genius Pro. I restarted it and the volume was working fine again. then the next day the volume doesn't work AGAIN.

any advice on what to do? thanks.

not a big deal your drivers are getting infected wit some sort of malware use a good antivirus and malwarebytes antimalware software after update to scan and reinstall the drivers after uninstalling them. if it doesnt work only option left is to format the hard drive. reply if that worked

Is your laptop preloaded one or retail one,

if it preloaded one then u can driver from compaq customer care online

if retails one then u need search manual. or reinstall the OS.
