Why is Channel 1 on my QSC MX 1500a Prof. Stereo Amplifier flipping into protect? Any thoughts?

I blew it out with compressed air, then clean some of its cable connections with an electronic wash, changed one of its leaking internal quick charge batteries, then tested channel 2, beat it up a little, then while testing channel 1, went into protect. Everything seems to be checking out fine. This is after hours of testing auto-range on components.

This is not an xm radio, its a power amp. Im gonna say to check your output connections to ensure there are no shorts. Usually they dont go into protect unless the outputs(speaker connections) are shorted together. disconnect speakers, if still protected, check internal wiring to ensure no wires are touching, not even 1 little metal hair. if all is good, your final output transistor has shorted itself out. It would need to be replaced.

I'm no tech geek but I think you're tearing it apart and beating it up might have had something to do with it. I'm a xm subscriber and I know when the power has been off for awhile the unit always goes back to xm1 preview.
