Most hairdryers are 110volts. They won't be 240v compliant because it costs too much to manufacture the power supply to do both. You must have a power rail that is 250v compliant or a step down transformer that converts 240v to 110v. A step down transformer usually runs about 400 Euros so it's not the travel plug you are pointing too. Be careful your hair dryer WILL EXPLODE if you plug it in with that, or at least burn out dramatically. Buy one when you get there. The plug you have is only good for things like laptops that have a transformer built in. (check the cord or the back of the device) US requires that they list the allowable voltage input and current.

The link is not working. In Europe you have 220 volts. In america only 110 volts. Check if your hairdryer has a switch to 220 volts.

Not knowing the specs of your appliance or that device, I would be tempted to say no, unless that device has enough capacity for a hair dryer, and your hair dryer has a 240V mode.

It seems to me that device is just a straight through adapter.

Make sure it provides enough current (it is rated in Watts higher than the Watts needed for your hair dryer)

Yep...that will do it
