what is a great pair of desktop speakers?

my speakers on my computer are going out on me and i need a good pair that won't break the bank.i've looked every where and can't find a pair i like. i love to blast my music when i'm on my computer so they need to withstand high volume. they also need to have good bass(i like electronica and hardstyle). so can any on help me please.

At about $100, there are still quite a few good choices: decent volume and sound quality.

I'd suggest getting either the M-audio AV30 or AV40.

Either will have great bass - especially for no sub... and have dedicated silk dome tweeters for the highs.
